Being mentally healthy and living well is important to every single one of us, whether we are living with a mental illness or not.
If you or someone you know is struggling, it’s important to ask for help and support. Talking might not always be the solution but it's always the starting point. Consider talking to:
- Friends or family members
- Work colleagues or your manager
- Your Trade Union representative

The council has trained a number of Mental Health First Aiders, who will respond and support you in the event of a mental health crisis, or if you don’t feel comfortable talking to a member of your team about your issues.
