  • Tuesday 6pm to 8pm: junior session for young people aged 11 to 13
  • Wednesday 6pm to 8pm: senior session for young people aged 14 to 17

12 November: paned a sgwrs / tea and chat; World Kindness Day

A chance for young people to chat about issues relevant to them over a cup of tea.

World Kindness Day – Young people can discuss what it means to be kind, with a craft activity to explore those ideas.


19 November: Craft and International Stand-Up to Bullying Day

We’ll be making figures from Playdough and Christmas decorations that will be baked, ready for painting.

For International Stand-Up to Bullying Day we’ll be making a chain of anti-bullying message links from colouring sheets.


26 November: Pinwheel pizzas and food groups

Young people will be preparing pinwheel pizzas. We’ll also talk about healthy eating and how it affects our bodies.

3 December: Christmas craft activity

Making cards for Christmas or for a special person to take home for friends and family.

We’ll have a discussion around different religious practices and beliefs, including Christianity and the meaning behind Christmas. We’ll also talk about the value of giving gifts.


10 December: Festive crafts and dressing up

Young people can wear something festive like a jumper or accessory to celebrate Christmas or their own beliefs.

Young people will have the chance to bake and decorate cookies or make stockings.

We’ll have a discussion about traditions and think about one we could adopt at the youth centre.


14 December: Christmas bingo and movie night

We’ll be celebrating the last session before the Christmas break with a festive game of bingo, with treats of hot chocolate and Yule log!.

We’ll watch a Christmas movie and give out all of the decorations to take home.
