A chance to welcome new members after the Christmas break and for young people to chat about issues relevant to them over a cup of tea.


21 January: Martin Luther King day

We’ll talk about and celebrate our differences, with an art activity supporting anti-racism.

Food: Cheese and ham toasties.


28 January: Traditions - Burns Night Week

Young people will make and enjoy warming soup while learning about Burns Night. They’ll also craft a Loch Ness Monster, with a prize for the best one!

4 February: World Cancer Day / cuppa and a chat

A chance for young people to talk about health issues with a youth worker in safe space – with hot chocolate available.

Young people can make posters to raise awareness of cancer with a prize for the best one and promotion on the Youth Service social media channels.


11 February: Valentine’s day

A chance to make cards for loved ones and to bake some shaped biscuits.


18 February: Paned a sgwrs / cuppa and a chat

We’ll be visited by members of the Council’s Archives team to find out what the archives are and what future projects could mean for young people.
