Working Denbighshire: Specialist support
Working Denbighshire have three specialist mentors who can help you if you are in one of the following categories:
Refugee mentor
For those people arriving in Denbighshire as part of the UK Governments refugee scheme. We have been working predominantly with Syrian and Afghani refugees but wherever you are from get in touch and we will do all we can to help you get the support you need. Ukrainian refugees are currently being supported through our mainstream provision and through organised group sessions.
Social housing tenant mentor
We have a specialist mentor working with all our Denbighshire County Council social housing tenants. This provision helps to look after the economic wellbeing of our neighbourhoods.
Homelessness mentor
We have a specialist mentor for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Housing and Employment issues often go hand in hand and can require support from both Working Denbighshire and the Housing Support Services team. Our specialist mentor focuses on helping young people up to the age of 35. Older homeless people are supported through our mainstream provision.
I'm interested in specialist support. What do I need to do?
