What do I do with incontinence pads and nappies?
These types of items cannot be recycled.
From June 2024, we're introducing a free, countywide collections service for your absorbent hygiene products, including disposable nappies and other AHPs. If you register for this new service, we’ll collect this waste from you every week.
You can dispose of incontinence pads and nappies using the appropriate container for your recycling and waste collections service or at a Recycling and Waste Park:

Real nappies
If you live in Denbighshire or Flintshire and your child is aged between 0 and 18 months old, you may be entitled to vouchers worth up to £75 to be used in part-payment for either the purchase of real nappies or a Real Nappy Laundry Service.

Businesses, charities and public sector organisations have the option of using our trade waste services or a private licensed waste management contractor.
