Children's services statistics and performance data
Every year, the Welsh Government measure the performance of Local Authority’s, social services functions, in relation to the Social Services Well-being (Wales) Act (2014).
These statutory Performance Accountability Measures (PAMs) replace all existing performance measures required by Welsh Government, including the social services performance indicators under the National Strategic Indicator (NSI) set.
The main role of these measures is to ensure all local authorities in Wales can demonstrate that they are working as effectively as they can and allows them to compare themselves to other authorities as well as supporting the authority to be more transparent with the public over issues that matter most to them.
