Free 4-weekly collections for your unwanted textiles provided by our partner, Co-Options Social Enterprise.

Recycling and waste changes: Textile collections

Unfortunately, the supply of bags for the optional textile collection service is unlikely to arrive until the end of June. This means they have not been included in the delivery of your Trolibocs or reusable bags, and that the textiles collection service will start at a later date.

When the bags arrive, you will be able to collect them from your local library or One Stop Shop or call the customer contact centre 01824 706000 to have one posted out to you. Keep an eye out on our social media, or check the website to find out when the service will begin.

Textile Collections

Co-Options Social Enterprise will collect any filled sacks from your kerbside every 4 weeks.
Please put any unwanted textiles, including clothing and shoes, in the sack - tie it securely and put out for collection on your collection date.
You can put out as many single-use white sacks for textile collections as you like.
When we deliver your new recycling containers, we'll also give you a single-use white sack for your textiles*.

Please remember:

to ensure textiles are clean and dry, and shoes are in pairs.
to use only the single-use white sacks provided by our partner, Co-Options Social Enterprise (external website)
if you need to order a new supply of white sacks, email Co-Options at office@cooptions.co.uk or call them on 01745 332300.
this new collections service is optional; you may still take unwanted clothing to your local Recycling and Waste Park, or any other legitimate outlet.
